What can Sport-A-Cause do for us?
There are a lot of excellent team captains out there. Thank goodness! They help charities raise a significant amount of money and awareness. Sport-A-Cause may be still be an option to handle some campaign basics like arranging a kick-off party, presenting a fundraising workshop, holding a safety workshop, or squaring a way the time-consuming task of ordering team apparel.

How much do your services cost?
To be honest, it varies depending on the scope of the campaign. We work with each client to create a campaign specific to their goals. Our involvement in your team may be minimal or substantial. It’s your call.

What percentage of the fundraising gets donated to my charity?
100% goes directly to the charity.

Who pays for Sport-A-Cause?
We are paid by our corporate clients. Sport-A-Cause campaigns are structured as a benefit for the employees, and 100% of the money raised by the employees goes directly to the charity.

What do I do if I have questions?
After signing up with Sport-A-Cause your company will be assigned a Sport-A-Cause Change Agent who will function as your go-to person. You will also get access to our Participant Playbook where you can IM us, and download tip sheets and fundraising guides.

What's a change agent?
A change agent is an account executive with a silly title. Kidding aside, we went with the title “change agent” because we started this business with change in mind. We’d like to make the world a little bit better. Helping companies “sport” a cause is how we’ve decided to go about it.

What is your privacy policy?
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We do not share your contact information with anyone without your permission.

How does my company choose a charity?
Most companies already have a charity partner in mind. If you haven’t chosen one, we can work with you to help you find one that’s a good match.

How do I access my account?
When your company signs up with Sport-A-Cause we will provide you with step by step instructions by email on how to get started. If you’re having trouble logging in, please contact us. We’re here to help!

Can non-employees participate on my company team?
Yes, if your company says it’s okay. Most do.

What do I do with the money I collected?
If donations were made online they have already reached your charity. If you have collected checks, contact your
Sport-A-Cause Change Agent for instructions. Sometimes you can wait for the event, and in other cases it’s best to deliver checks to the charity beforehand.

Is Sport-A-Cause a non-profit?
Sport-A-Cause is a for-profit entity established to maximize the benefits of non-profit event participation for our clients, resulting in a memorable employee experience and greater community impact.
